Colorado Concealed Carry Classes

3 hr Level 1 Firearm Safety Course (This is not an NRA approved course)
Cost: $155 (Prepaid Online) Walk-In is additional $10

This class will meet the certification training requirements for a Colorado Concealed Weapons Permits. We have several locations for you to take your Colorado Concealed Weapon Class to include Denver, Pueblo, Aurora, Thornton, Lakewood CO with other cities coming soon.

In a three hour class, it provides hands-on orientation to yours or our action type of pistol in as little as three hours, including a 45 Minute shooting session on a range! Our instructor will assist you and provide tips  to get you to level of proficiency you would like to obtain.

If you are new to firearms and the shooting sports, this half day conceal carry program may be the perfect introduction.

2. Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling (one or the other)
   a) Semi-Automatic Knowledge 
   b) Revolver Knowledge
3. Gun Safety Rules
4. Pistol Operation

7. LIVE Fire
8. Holster Selection/Concealment Techniques
   a) Safety and responsibility by law of firearms around children

   d) Shoot/Don't Shoot Scenarios/Use of Force and Justification

Students may use their own firearm and ammunition in the course only after it has been inspected and cleared for use in the course by the instructors. If the student does not have a firearm one will be provided with ammunition for this course.

This course meets & exceeds the requirements to apply for your Colorado Concealed Carry Permit.

Equip to Conceal Firearms Group offers our comprehensive, female only concealed weapon certification course.  This 4.5 hour course is tailored to your individual needs and will give you the opportunity to fire four different caliber handguns. You will experience the difference between a .22 caliber, .38 caliber, 9mm and a .40 caliber firearm. You will also spend an hour of personal time on the range with your instructor firing up to 50 rounds ammunition. Our small class sizes and low student to instructor ratio will offer you the personal attention needed to give you the confidence required for carrying a concealed firearm. Upon successful completion of this course you will satisfy the state training requirement for a concealed weapon permit and will be Equip2Protect yourself against violent crime.

3 hr NRA F.I.R.S.T. Steps Pistol (NRA certified course)
Cost: $155 (Prepaid Online) Walk-In is additional $10

This course meets & exceeds the requirements for the Colorado Concealed Carry Permit "CWP"

The cost of this course includes NRA course certificate, NRA student book/ packet, your range fee, and firearm rental.

The FIRST (Firearm Instruction, Responsibility and Safety Training) Steps Program is ideal for the novice shooter.

The goal of this program is teach the participants the FUNDAMENTALS of Firearm Safety and Shooting.
Our FIRST Steps Program we offer is available for basic pistol and complies with Colorado statues to obtain your concealed carry permit.

In a three-hour class it provides hands-on orientation to one specific action type of pistol including a one-hour shooting session on a range! Our instructors will assist you and provide tips to get you to the level of proficiency you wish to obtain.

The NRA FIRST Steps program provides a thorough introduction to firearm safety, handling, and shooting skills for a specific type of pistol. These skills require regular practice as does anything else to become an expert and with the help of out instructors we can guide you and show you pointers to help bring you to the level you would like to be..

Students may use their own firearm and ammunition in the course ONLY after it has been inspected and cleared for use in the course by the Instructors.  If the student does not have a firearm one will be provided with ammunition for this course.

Students are encouraged to bring their own eye and ear protection, firearm and 15 rounds of ammunition (NO RELOADS PLEASE).

**After the NRA portion of the class the following items are included in the price of your class at Gander Mountain locations:

• NRA home safety packet and book
• NRA course certificate

The overview of topics covered are the following:

• Basic Knowledge

• Attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home
• Handgun cleaning / maintenance
• Safe storage of firearms

**WE ARE CERTIFIED NRA INSTRUCTORS AND ARE GIVING NRA CERTIFIED COURSES IN SOME CLASSES. BY COLORADO LAW AND NRA REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR THE COLORADO CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT THE INSTRUCTOR  MUST KEEP RECORDS FOR 2 YEARS. ALSO, THE CERTIFICATE YOU SEND TO THE STATE FROM YOUR COURSE MUST HAVE THE INSTRUCTOR IDENTIFICATION NUMBER**

**Equip 2 Conceal has a NO refund policy. Our products and accommodations are arranged on a student to student basis therefore we cannot provide refunds. If an incident may come up your payment may be transferred to another class for up to 30 days as long as there is a 48 hour notice given. If Equip 2 Conceal cancels a class your deposit or payment will be credited to another class unless the reasons are out of our control. After 6 months there is no credit or transfer.

**Weather related cancellations are possible.  Please insure that you look at our calendar page and the specific class in question to see if it has been cancelled.  You can also contact our Operations center at 1-866-371-6111.  If the class has been cancelled you will need to call and reschedule.  Please have your receipt in hand to expedite this process.  We DO NOT refund for weather related cancellations since these are beyond our control.
