Wisconsin Concealed Carry Classes

Here are the classes we currently offer (check our calendar for current dates)

3 hr Level 1 Firearm Safety Course (This is not an NRA course)
Cost: $99 (Prepaid Online) Walk-In is additional $10
Cost: $149 (Prepaid Online) If you would like the FL permit training and LIVE Fire (Offered on ALL Weekend classes ONLY)

This class will meet the certification training requirements for the 2011 Wisconsin CWP as stated in SB93 Act 35 Section 175.60 (4b/4c/4e).  We have several locations and Fleet Farm Stores for you to take your Wisconsin Concealed Weapon Class to include Appleton, Milwaukee, Green Bay, La Crosse, Madison, Oshkosh, Wausau, Stevens Point, Superior, Wisconsin Dells, Rhinelander, Minocqua, Fond Du Lac, Burlington, Platteville, Eau Claire, Black River Falls, Germantown, Sheboygan, New London, Colby, Beaver Dam, Marinette, Merrill, Eagle River, Tomahawk, St Germain, Edgerton, Waupaca, Plymouth, West Bend, Menomonie, Manitowoc, Hudson, Antigo, Clintonville, Marshfield, Waukesha and other cities coming soon.

Statement from DOJ

The Conceal Carry Class we offer is available for basic pistol and will comply with Wisconsin statues to obtain your concealed carry permit.

In a four hour class, it provides hands-on orientation to yours or our action type of pistol in as little as four hours. Our instructor will assist you and provide tips  to get you to level of proficiency you would like to obtain.

If you are new to firearms and the shooting sports, this half day conceal carry program may be the perfect introduction.

** If you would like to obtain 31 additional states to your Wiscnosin Permit then you will want to register for our class which includes the Florida Permit portion which is only offered on weekends.  This does require a short LIVE fire component which will occur on the same day.  We do include your FL application packet, and photos along with your fingerprint card.  You will send this in with $117 and after your background check is successfully completed you will be issued a 7 year permit.

Private classes are available if any of our locations are to far for you.  There is a minimum amount of students required for these classes but it depends on the distance in the State.  Please call so that we may accomodate you in exercising your Second Amendment Right.

4 hr Level 2 Firearm Safety Course (This is not an NRA course)
Cost: $175 (Prepaid Online) Option A **NO WALK-INS**
Cost: $250 (Prepaid Online) Option B All Inclusive except range fee

In order to enroll in our Level 2 course the Student must have a current CWP (Concealed Weapon Permit) or certificate of completion from our Level 1 course with LIVE fire.  Some exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.  This Level 2 course has been designed to prepare the student for accurate handgun training under stress.  The goal is to support the fundamentals of pistol shooting with practical shooting excercises that can be practiced at any pistol range we utilize.  In order to maintain the integrity of the course the Instructor to student ratio is kept to a minimum.  We will spend a short time reviewing not just safety, but grip, dominant eye, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger squeeze, breath control, and follow through.  All of these fundamentals will be utilized to successfully complete the course.

Topics in the course include:

1.  Pistol Shooting Fundamentals Review
2.  Opportunity to Develop Skills on a live firing range
3.  Take Home Score Sheet for each drill
4.  Four challenging drills with four caliber firearms
5.  Help the shooter master the methods of accurate shooting
6.  Enhance your enjoyment for shooting
7.  Confidence to continue building on skills with practice

Option A
Bring your own firearm and a box of factory ammunition for each handgun you bring (NO RELOADS) NOT including range fee.  If you plan on bringing the firearm most likely intended for daily carry we recommend having a box of daily carry or self defense loads instead of the range loads.

Option B
We supply 4 firearms and include a total of 100 rounds of factory ammunition between them.  These firearms will include .22 LR, .38 Revolver, 9MM, and .40Cal with substitues sometimes available.

Equip to Conceal Firearms Group offers our comprehensive, female only concealed weapon certification course.  This 4 hour course is tailored to your individual needs and will give you the opportunity to fire four different caliber handguns. You will experience the difference between a .22 caliber, .38 caliber, 9mm and a .40 caliber firearm. You will also spend an hour of personal time on the range with your instructor firing up to 50 rounds ammunition. Our small class sizes and low student to instructor ratio will offer you the personal attention needed to give you the confidence required for carrying a concealed firearm. Upon successful completion of this course you will satisfy the state requirement for a concealed weapon permit and will be Equip2Protect yourself against violent crime.

4 hr Utah Concealed Weapon Permit Class 
Cost: $125 (Prepaid Online) Walk-In is additional $10

This class meets the certification and re-certification training requirements for the Utah CWP

The Conceal Carry Class we offer is available for basic pistol and complies with Utah statues to obtain your concealed carry permit.

In a four hour class, it provides hands-on orientation to yours or our action type of pistol in as little as four hours. Our instructor will assist you and provide tips  to get you to level of proficiency you would like to obtain.

If you are new to firearms and the shooting sports, this half day conceal carry program may be the perfect introduction.

1. The safe loading, unloading, storage, and carrying of firearms to be concealed
2. Current laws defining lawful self defense, use of force by private citizens, including use of deadly force, transportation, and concealment.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
7. NO LIVE FIRE
8. Holster Selection/Concealment Techniques

This class is is an excellent choice to add additional States to your Wisconsin CWP those 31 States covered are HERE.

**IMPORTANT A Wisconsin resident must still have a Wisconsin CWP in Wisconsin.  You may use a copy of this certificate to apply for your Wisconsin permit as well, but you MUST have your Wisconsin CWP if a Wisconsin resident to receive the Utah CWP.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT:
As stated in WISCONSIN ACT 35 the training requirements can be met in several different ways.  Equip 2 Conceal Firearms Group can be relied upon to provide the most accurate information as it is supplied to us by the Wisconsin DOJ.  The recent release by the Wisconsin DOJ, found here: Wisconsin DOJ/FAQ gives further details about training requirements and how they are met.  You can rest assured all of our instructors are certified by a national organization and meet this requirement.

**Equip 2 Conceal has a NO refund policy. Our products and accommodations are arranged on a student to student basis therefore we cannot provide refunds. If an incident may come up your payment may be transferred to another class for up to 30 days as long as a 48 hour notice has been given. If Equip 2 Conceal cancels a class your deposit or payment will be credited to another class unless the reasons are out of our control. After 6 months there is no credit or transfer.

**Weather related cancellations are possible.  Please insure that you look at our calendar page and the specific class in question to see if it has been cancelled.  You can also contact our Operations center at 1-866-371-6111.  If the class has been cancelled you will need to call and reschedule.  Please have your receipt in hand to expedite this process.  We DO NOT refund for weather related cancellations since these are beyond our control.
