"Even though violent crime numbers are down across Central Florida, FBI statistics show Orange County leads the state in the number of rapes.

According to the latest numbers from the Sheriff's Department, there were 784 reported sex crimes in Orange County for 2008. So far this year, there have been 565 reported."
