Across the country, we're seeing a series of blows to gun control. In Chicago, gun owners will no longer have to register their firearms - putting an end to a policy that has tracked guns in the city for more than 40 years.
In Missouri, a controversial measure that would have prevented enforcement of federal gun laws nearly passed. A push to override the governor's veto fell just one vote short of approval in the state Senate.
And in Iowa, the legally blind can legally get a gun permit. State law says every Iowan has the right to carry a weapon - but what about safety?
